Eligibility

This competition is open to:

• Current high school seniors, and

• Prior-year graduates
  who have participated in a welding course.
  (Eligibility requirements are subject to change.)

 Competition Dates & Times

• Thursday, May 7 – Competition begins at 10:00 AM and will run until 5:00 PM

• Friday, May 8 – Competition will continue as needed

• Awards Ceremony: Sat, May 9

 Skills to Be Tested

Skills evaluated will include, but are not limited to:

• Blueprint Reading

• Layout Skills

• Stick Welding (SMAW)

• MIG Welding (GMAW)

• Plasma Cutting

 Awards & Prizes

• 🥇 1st Place: Full-ride scholarship to Welding School of Nevada

• 🥈 2nd & 🥉 3rd Place: Prizes to be announced
